Stories of Impact
Lives that your kindness rewrote.

After losing her father, anxiety and financial despair left Sunita* isolated at home, standard prospects looking bleak. Joining Healstation’s skill development program gave her more than just a trade—it gave her a community of sisterhood. Now a certified changemaker, she stitches sustainable clothing and earns a decent livelihood.

Ankita, Laxmi and Pooja spent their early mornings helping their family gather firewood in the forest, never knowing what a classroom looked like. When our 'Under the Tree' classes came to their village, their lives changed. They held the books and notebooks for the first time. Today, they are no longer left behind and are thriving at the top of their classes.

Preeti used unhygienic rags and stayed isolated in a dark shed every month, risking chronic infection due to deep-rooted village taboos. After attending a dedicated menstrual hygiene workshop, she threw out the old rags for good. She now safely manages her health and actively educates her peers to break the cycle of isolation.
